Hockey 101: PE Takeover Program
The Colorado Avalanche partners with elementary schools across Colorado to introduce students in grades 1–5 to the sport of hockey through Hockey 101, a school-based PE Takeover program. Participating schools receive a full ball hockey equipment donation, an easy-to-implement curriculum for PE teachers, and a fun, engaging introduction to the game.
